The constitution gives State legislators the power to set state voting laws. How does this new legislation address that? If it is not constitutional the states can merely ignor it. 10th Amendment and all that.

”In Congress, the House on Wednesday night passed by 220 to 210 a bill that would set nationwide standards for federal elections — a major expansion of Washington's authority that Democrats say is needed to protect voting rights against restrictions in Republican states.”

Hope you are right. Obviously nothing to stop this from passing senate and then president signing it. So you think it’s unconstitutional and therefore states will be able to ignore it? Hope so but have doubts.

The filibuster is still in place so 60 votes are required in the senate to approve. I dont see that happening but have been wrong before. It is hard to predict the behavior of traitors.

The founders said it up the way they did for a specific reason. When one entity controls the voting process they never lose. This is why each state was given freedom to conduct their own elections with minor oversight and rules. The Fed should NEVER get involved unless Federal laws are broken. It will get interesting though when Democrats start fighting among themselves on who won instead of with the GOP. It will de-evolve to may the best cheater and loud mouth asshole win to include murder. Want to win just murder your opponent and blame it on a fake white hate groups or cubans.

So this won’t do anything then?

Any plan going forward for MAGA must involve cheating more than them.
