No. We support complete freedom, but freedom within our own borders and under our own laws. Genuine Libertarians know that a \n open borders policy will inevitably lead to corruption and the erosion of personal liberties to keep the elite in control. Granted, we are quite pro-immigration for the most part, BUT only based on merit. You want to be free, in THIS country? Wait in line, earn your place, assimilate into culture etc. like any decent legal immigrant.
Yes. Most of them do. The ones here are a highly non representative subset and even here they support it on balance.

Look, I love hardworking legal immigrants who come in legally and try to become American citizens and I want to protect them from illegal aliens that come in and bringing crime and drugs. I want control over our border and control over how many people are coming in.
What about Americans? You have to talk from a nativist point of view;we are populists and conservatives not centrists.
I mean, if you look at who is hurt by illegal aliens, it is every member of a couple of border states. Most of the same states are entry points for legal immigrants, as well. And typically, legal immigrants and illegal immigrants are forced to compete for the same jobs. Imagine, working hard and going through the legal process to enter our country and having your job stolen by an illegal with fake papers. And yes that also happens to naturally born americans.
Jobs are finite, and low-paying jobs are becoming more and more rare. Low-paying jobs where the person doesn’t speak a bit of English are even rarer.

In the last few decades we've already passed amnesty legislation more than half a dozen times, naturalizing millions of illegal aliens. And now there are more than ever before. The only thing this policy of appeasement accomplishes is to make the problem worse. Like pretty much everything else socialism does.
If these immigrants are so great and in the millions, why aren't they rebuilding their home country? Do good people break your laws and look for free stuff to take? Do good people demand you pay for their shit while you get nothing but higher taxes, longer waits at hospitals, lower wages due to oversupply, and Press 2 for Spanish?

Republicans are not opposed to legal immigration, we simply want less of it and a more thorough screening of applicants.
I identify as libertarian but never understood the movement's desire to destroy borders. illegal immigration is harmful as they will always be able to undercut native populations as they are not paying tax.
