I rarely go to Target, but last Christmas time I bought some toys for my church's charity drive. On my way out of the store and watching me go through the checkout line the greeter insisted on checking all my bags against the receipt. I've never been treated like a criminal like that before anywhere and I haven't been back since. I don't think I'll be back any time soon either

Our Walmart did this before corona. Sams club does this all the time.
The difference between sam's and costco and these other stores are that you don't have a member agreement
