Today I saw a coworker with his mask off. I have worked with this guy for 8 months, and this was the first time I saw his face. I work with this guy every day, talk to him all the time, but until today I didn't know what he looked like. It was kind of a surreal realization of how messed up this country is.

Freaky ain't it? Thanks to biden's bullshit, I have to order a clear mask with a filter. Still pretty sure I am going to get fired, but for the days I need to complete my injury paperwork to continue feeding my family while off work, I'll wear that piece of shit for a couple minutes while they do my paperwork. But I will be damned if I am wearing it to actually work in. The reason for the clear mask with filter is in case anyone laughs I can point out their bullshit intellectual dishonesty about the cloth masks, and maybe educate people about reality, for those still not blinded, while not looking like I have a fucking muzzle on my face.
I have to wear a 3 layer paper mask all day at work. I take scissors and cut away 2 of the inner layers so no one notices and I can breathe better.
Yeah I wont be doing that, but good on ya for doing what is best for you in your situation. The one i ordered will have an intake valve with filter, and separate exhale valves. And I plan on posting the cdc studies that show none of it does jack shit the day I am told to leave.

One of my contracts brings me to a place where I’ve come to know the people for over a decade. Yesterday, the chef made some hot wings for the crew and as they removed their masks to eat it was the first time I’d seen some of their faces in a long time.
I made jokes about who the new employees were. Seriously, it was like having to meet these people again, for the first time.

Same thing happened to me a month ago!
I had to go to the grocery today. Had my girl with me but had a lot of social anxiety until I saw the truck in the parking lot with a large flag and a terminator Trump hair sticker. Parked beside them and my gf put a maga note on the windshield and we proceeded to shop in peace mask less.

I haven't really been to the City since all of this started until a couple days ago. Just seeing everybody cover their face makes me anxious. I don't know how you city dwellers have dealt with this for the last year.
I am in a small town, but I work for a major corporation and so we are forced to wear masks at work. I refuse to wear one elsewhere though

When I was in Denver for a couple months, I had a guy start talking to me at the gym. He was friendly enough but he had a mask on, I didn’t. I mentioned something about switching careers and he knew people in what I was going to do, so we swapped numbers. Something always felt off about the interaction and when he texted me a few days down the line, I told him we can’t continue talking until I see his face. Never saw him ar the gym again
Kids just beginning to socialize during this period may have a tougher time reading facial expressions.

No problem. Ladypedes are a minority, unfortunately. Too many women go to the dark side of their nature and only obey their feels instead of logic. I don't have any female friends for this reason.
