The real strength of the US Mil relies on intel and weapon systems mixed with small foot print specila ops units. Trust me, most special operations arent in country, or theyre awaiting to leave again and their manning is always low. US Mil has critical points in all of their infrastructure. If comms goes down, theyre fucked.
