I just might try that...I do like either Sambuca black or Yager in coffee...it turns it into a liquorice coffee...Yager makes it LESS strong flavor wise...Sambica is stronger flavored but its good...to me anyway.

Last night I was watching a youtube video by a guy I only recently discovered.
I don't entirely understand the way the US Military functions in terms of National Guard etc, in Australia we just have the regular Army and the Army Reserves (i.e. the weekend warriors) but wherever this guy falls in terms of your system he's definitely a soldier.
Anyway ... he reported that recently the CSM and Battalion CO of 2/30 Infantry Battalion 3/10 Mountain Division decided it was a great idea that during a training exercise they would Article 15 their soldiers that sought medical attention for trench foot or frostbite.
The training exercise apparently took place during the recent cold snap and one platoon CO reported (on social media) that 5 of his soldiers suffered hypothermia.
Good luck retaining soldiers with leadership like that.

I retired at the end of Obama. Barely made it to 20. He decimated us. I know people with 17, 18 years in kicked out. People wth 2-3 deployments booted out like common trash. Great people, clean records. Sad.
I had a buddy in ordinance army, training disarmament of i.e.d.s. said they were pussifying even the training of "don't blow your ----ing self or others up". I don't know where he is at now
Hear that a lot. They try as hard as they can to get people out before they can retire. I'm a fed so we have a ton of vets since the time carries over. A lot of them got the hell out and nobody says anything nice about how it's run.

Military service runs in the family. It becomes traditional. I have ancestors that go all the way back to the Revolution. My family has served in almost every single war America has fought.
Once you sever the traditional view that sacrifices are worth it, you're fucked.
