It's really convenient that all these states are doing this now that Biden is in, but not before the election.

To be fair, I honestly don't think that POTUS (Trump) pushed back hard enough to call out and expose the covid bs. I mean, he did, but he also said multiple times how he was letting the governors use their powers. I do see what you mean, but I always thought since the beginning that with the 'rona stuff, POTUS didn't stand up and fight back as hard as he should have against the insanity of it all.

Yes, I also agree with you. My opinion of Trump has changed since that joke of an election. From someone not living in the US, it looks like he just left the doors wide open and then walked away. Honestly can't believe it. The rest of us are going to go down when the US does

I see what you’re saying, but I disagree with your interpretation of what happened that last year. The hoax happened and was used to surround Trump with deep staters who all have insanely bad/stupid/inept advice. He also couldn’t trust what his officials were telling him, they’d refuse to follow orders and lied to him outright. By this I’m referring to the idiots at the top of the DoD, and the fact it came out they lied about how many troops were left in Syria, and also failed to follow instructions when the riots started.

That being said, what could he do? He did ultimately fire head DoD guy but it was too late and too close to the election to really have an effect.

In hindsight, he should have done mass layoffs when he came into office the way Obama did, but to be fair we’ve never had a reaction to an election the way there was the past 4 years. It always seemed to be the “smooth transfer” they always purport it to be.

Has my opinion altered? A bit, but Trump is absolutely still who I thought he was in ‘16. My opinion of politics and the people involved has gotten a whole lot darker though.
