YEP! Fucking Illinois. I was just in Chicago today and decided to stop at Whole(Soy) Foods without a mask expecting to have liberals chase and curse me out of the store. I walked in and said "I have a medical disability that prevents me from safely wearing a mask." The Asian manager tells me the CDC guidelines require everyone to wear a mask or I need to leave. I told him the CDC guidelines are recommendations/suggestions and began to cite the statute (775 ILCS 5 / 5 - Public Accommodations) that protects me from discrimination against my so-called disability and asked him, "Do suggestions overrides laws?" He stood dumbfounded while I grabbed my food and paid for it with him following me saying I need to leave.
