If she had left “I’m a strong, fierce conservative black woman” out of this tweet it would have been 1000x better.

Seriously. Read the tweet without it and see what I mean. Completely different tone and tenor.

I’m stoked more people are getting involved, but if they keep making amateur mistakes like this then we’re gonna have some growing pains. Identity politics is gonna be a touchy subject too.

I’ll be interested to follow her though. I hope she’s not in a district like Kim Klacik’s where it was like D+30.

Identity politics is not a touchy subject. Some white conservatives are trying to turn it into that by being outraged when someone mentions their race or gender unless they are mentioning it to say it doesn’t matter. Some are trying to create an environment where women and black people should feel uncomfortable speaking about who they are. Your putting people in a situation where they might feel like they have to walk on eggshells to not have people telling “Stop saying your black!” I don’t like that part of the tweet either but who am I to tell someone what to do when they are running for office. White conservatives are making an issue about race while at the same time complaining that liberals are doing it. It’s very hypocritical and annoying.

J.R Majewski is running in Ohio as well. He made this sweet banner on his yard and got to meet Trump because of it. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8514993/Air-Force-veteran-paints-entire-yard-19-000sq-ft-Trump-2020-banner.html

Waste of time and money. She lost her district to that dumbass Frederica Wilson by > 55%. Save your money and effort on people who have a chance to win.

If she didn’t win that’s because of people like you not supporting her

2
somethingnew 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, it is because her district is not winnable. It is the same issue that Kim Klacik. She raised a shit ton of money, had lots of media attention from the right, and became famous, but still lost by ~50% of the vote. There are districts that aren't winnable and FL-24 is one of them.

Out resources are limited, and we should spend them wisely in races that we have a chance of winning.

There’s enough resources to go around. There’s millions of people on this side

No, there aren't enough resources to waste on candidates who are running in D+30 and D+50 districts. We can use our resources better by choosing races that are winnable in districts that aren't as lopsided as FL-24.

Also, the other side has millions as well + the entire media + all of social media + most of the billionaires. They can afford to waste their money on dumbass campaigns that have no chance of winning, we cannot.

Gonna vote for another Republican? How'd all that work out before?

I can’t force an independent to run for office

Not happening, she’s playing identity politics.

If MTG can say “It’s okay to be white” and get elected and cheered for than a woman who is black can call herself a black woman.

With you on this. I’m not concerned about her race or being a woman as much as whether she’s truly who she says she is.

I’m tired of people claiming to be MAGA then stabbing us in the back. Take Tim Scott or Maria Salazar or Ted Cruz for example. We have to find an actual litmus test for candidates because we can’t just take people’s word for it anymore

Where they get their donations from is the only thing I can think of

Moniie [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Right now I’m only sharing candidates who I’ve seen consistently instead of new names popping up. That’s my initial litmus test.

That’s fair

Red flag when you think political parties are responsible for feeding hungry people.
