Unpopular opinion : liberalism is THE American ideology. It was the radical notion which inspired our founders to form our nation. We use it today to refer to leftists but in reality liberalism is THE BEST political philosophy in history : "freedom and respect for the individual, private property and enterprise, and democratic governance" American Conservatives are the most liberal people on the planet, and I wish we took our real name more to heart.
