My wife is Portuguese and traditionally her people are from Hispania. However she is classified as White non-Hispanic because she isnt from Mexico. Ethnicity questions are nonsensical.

Doctors asked her about her race she said white. They then asked her ethnicity and she said still white (lol) they said no you are either Hispanic Puerto Rican or non Hispanic. What a joke this all is.

Yea she thought it was retarded. The nurse and intern were black and they thought it was stupid too.
