Nice.

This is the opposite of what I experienced in Florida, today, at a well-known, similar grocery shopping store. Rhymes with Schmublix.

I was in the store; no mask; had 4 items; and the cashier goes on a power trip. <<< THE POWER TRIPS are the real problem...a cashier has been empowered to think they are in the right for imposing their judgement on you.

"Where is your mask? You have to have a mask".

I told them I have an exemption (which is actually true).

"You need to have a mask!"

I told them "Are you refusing service?"

Cashier rolled her (stupid) eyes, scanned my items, and "threw" them to the end of the checkout area (threw = definitely not a normal "slide" but much more forceful). No comments. Shaking her head and rolling her eyes the whole time.

I told her "You know, I have a medical reason to not be wearing a mask and you should be ashamed of yourself for mistreating me. You really need to think for yourself."

She kept rolling her eyes and wouldn't respond.

This is the real problem with "government mandates" --random fucking hourly-wage people think they are the arbiters of righteousness.

It's fucking disgusting.

Same here in Based Coastal Alabama, Publix down here doesn't say anything, just the announcements from time to time about the requirements, "we're all in this together", blah blah. There are so many damn yankee snowbirds down here and they are the only one's complying.
