There are many psychological roots to this phenomenon... Most of which have of course been pushed & manipulated for generations now as part of the globalist plan to feminize and demoralize the Western World.
In the simplest sense, most positive feminine archetypes have been totally demonized (w/o getting into technical jargon, think of today's Western views of classical female ideals like the Mother, the Caregiver, the Priestess, etc).
With aspirational female roles now shunned by society, the globo-commies then pushed multiple rounds of distorted "feminism" to essentially tell women their only value is as shittier versions of men (the "Strong Independent Woman Who Don't Need No Man").
This one is especially ironic since, while obsessively complaining about "muh patriarchy" these same regressive "feminists" also long for that Alpha Male mate (as nature has programmed them to do). Ironic because the object is their (biological) desire is also the object of their (programmed) hate.
It was the Alpha Male who built the "patriarchy" these poor lost souls are obsessed with! Don't get me started on the underlying psychology behind the fact that every Alpha Male who built & maintains this "patriarchy" was born & raised by a woman!
Now, with no naturally fulfilling roles to play in society (since their biological femininity is demonized, but they also can't become men)...
... Women are left with only pathological roles to play in society. Natural fulfillment along evolutionarily lines is heavily blocked off, so these manifest in shadow forms (the Slut, the Karen, the Spinster, etc).
This whole situation is exacerbated further still by the overall Feminization of the West, but this is already an essay!
