Rove was supposed to be such a strategic genius, but most of his campaigns lost. George W. only won because (A) a bunch of blue-haired geezers in Florida couldn't figure out the (terribly designed) ballot and wound up voting for Pat Buchanan, and (B) the Supreme Court wasn't full of traitors then.
