Actually, it's the only area in the Anglosphere with a visible minority of patriots who make their presence known. And they're pretty self-aware too. So there's a tiny sliver of hope.

I have friends in 5 major cities in China. They had a lockdown for 3 weeks, mandatory masks, one person from each household could leave biweekly for medications and food, limited travel. Soft openings after for 2 weeks, business as usual at 6 weeks.
