...Me: (chuckle) “no, I don’t watch TV...I don’t have time for that...”

...this usually garners the head turning of multiple people...they will look you up and down. Seeds of doubt in their mind that there is another way to live...perhaps a better way...

Cut the cord years ago and only watch the propaganda box when I rent a movie or show. I won't watch the news (even local) any more... Thats why the internet was made..... I'll find the news.

My local news is 99% national news and 1% local "what building burned down last night."

It's pathetic propaganda. Was so much better when I was a kid.
