Don't be one of "those" people. People DO drop on the street like flies (sometimes) when they have covid. All china had to do was amplify those events (you're right that they did that and had a targeted digital campaign against "the west"). And because there was so little information "escaping out of china" most people took that information seriously. People were shut in their homes and probably burned still alive. Fine-tune your conspiracy meter because you'll need it accurate going forward.
