He said no, you thought you needed a new doctor, but you kept your doctor. Now he's taking the next logical step, and you're saying you need a new doctor again.

Yes. We as Americans forget how foreign the concept of "comfort" is to most of the world. We have so many creature comforts this is what we have come to base many, even important decisions on.
Sometimes it is hard to get a new dr. My neighbor moved to Oregon and she had to wait several months to get hooked up. And it will only get worse now with socialized medicine.

The medical community has a lot of their marching orders coming top down. Most doctors are just repeating what they are told without doing any actual research. People believe them because they assume their doctors are smarter than them because of the white coat.

Doctors follow CDC and state health dept marching orders ("protocol") because their medical license can be scrutinized/suspended if they don't and insurance companies go after them if they dare think outside the box. It is sad. They can't practice they way they want to and they have hundreds of thousands of med school loans to repay, so they are stuck. And many are indoctrinated from the (intentional) lack of sleep they get in med school, so they are not thinking critically.
This is why anytime alternate medical solution or natural solutions cheap solutions etc are totally demonized by the medical establishment. Look at the HCQ? Masks? Vitamins? All these things Ive heard doctors first hand flip flop on mutiple times not because they found new research. It is because they get told what to say and they dont question because they assume the "study" is legit or they just dont have the energy at the end of a 12hr day. This is also why there will never be a cheap cure for cancer to ever be found in the US. It will come from a European country, israel, or maybe somewhere like Japan. The us medical establishment is just another arm of a broken corrupt system thanks to government and too many fucking lawyers.

Neighbor had stomach cancer. Couldnt afford the “smart pills” at $3000/mo. I showed them how to get them over the internet from Canada. But they ended up having to get them from India for about $500/month. He got about two extra yrs of life out of the deal.

Find one that will prescribe early outpatient treatment for COVID-19. Those are the smart ones.
