  1. I self-diagnosed myself for DeQuervains tenosynovitis. Did the home test. Went for a cortisone shot. Told the dr my diagnosis. He said “ he agreed with my diagnosis” and gave me my shot. This is a dr not exactly known for his bedside manor, either. But he did my two new knees (zero pain now) and my two carpel tunnels (also zero pain now).

  2. Several yrs ago Had to take clindomycin for a tooth problem. Wiped out my good bacteria. Got a yeast infection in my mouth but I didnt know it. I thought I had just burned the tip of my tongue. I looked up my symptom “red spot on the tip of my tongue” and it came up with yeast infection. Then I looked up self-treatment and I actually paid $25 for an ebook on the cure (yeah, I know). Turns out garlic is the deadly enemy of yeast (my dentist was 100 miles away) and so I bought a garlic clove, chewed it up (yuck) and within 12 hrs I am totally cured. In the meantime other people taking antibiotics are having to take another kind of a pill to get rid of their yeast infection.

So I figure I am doing ok considering I dont really know anything. The internet is a great source of info. I use Yahoo, not google. Other old people waste their time on facebook so they can be with their grandkids. How dumb when you have the world at your fingertips

That's why I said "not you, of course". You're obviously smarter than average.

My greatest regret when I was young was that I never finished reading the encyclopedia. I only got halfway through the A’s. 🤣
