Yeah, I read that article. They make it sound like every single existing system to notify parents of their child’s failure didn’t function. But this mom should have been on top of her kid. The school can call you until they’re blue in the face, but if you aren’t laying eyes on your child every day and asking “how are you doing in class” it’s all useless.
