In order to see if this number is anything radical, all you gotta do is see how many people have received the vaccine, then figure out the death rate. Then look up how many deaths per million happen on average from natural causes every month.

According to Google (it was right in the main search page) around 54 million people in the US have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and about half of those have received both. If 1170 people have died., that’s 0.000021% of those receiving the vaccine.
Now, how many people die normally in that timeframe? Our average annual death rate is 0.8%. In 2020 2.5 million people died in total, so if you divide that by 12 months that’s around 208K people dying every month.
So 1170 people really is kinda insignificant in the big picture, and most of these people probably died a natural death, it just happened to be after they got the vaccine. I’m not advocating for the vaccine or anything, just keeping it all in perspective.
