I was able to watch only a few seconds of their absolute terror in the video. Then I watched another video of a solo mountain climber showing their footsteps. He said that even as a dude he was scared pissless. For those girls to think they could just waltz through an area like that is total insanity. I feel extremely sad for them. The fact is that they ignored all the warnings. They probably thought the people giving the warnings were racist, xenophobic or hate muslims. This is true. The victims are so far gone that they will find some way to rationalize it, like that guy who was raped in sweden by a migrant, and fought against his rapist being deported. The psychological stress of the realization that they've been fooled by their government and media that don't give a shit about them and that reality is so different from their expectations, is too much to bear, so the easier and less stressful path is internalizing it. Then they self medicate with drugs, prescribed or not.
