How did you get shingles @26? Weakened immune system? Not try to pry. That's just awful young IMO

https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/shingles/news/20180904/shingles-on-the-rise-among-younger-people

I know webMD is trash overall, but this article kind of sums it up. Nobody has a clear answer, but to find shingles in a mode twenties Americans isn't too unheard of at this point.

My doctor who is a chiropractor actually said he had a 25 year old girl with them too a year or so ago.

He's treated like 50 or so people with shingles over the years. If I needed medical attention he wouldn't hesitate to send me into the emergency to get stronger drugs, but he thinks 9 times out of 10, shingles can be treated safely at home.

In general, shingles goes away on its own, but it's smart to take some action on it to give your body what it needs to kick its ass.

Stab in the dark, maybe shingles is mutating into a new strain that can hit young people easier.

My SIL had shingles on her face when she was six years old. It left a scar like a really bad burn. She’s in her forties now and there’s just a trace of the scar left. But it was horrific.

I think shingles is much more common in young adults than most people realize. One of my doctors told me she got it while in medical school, in her mid-20s.

Nope! I am a very healthy young man. So talking to my doctor, he said he's surprised in general, because he's close to 70 now.

He said when he was in his early days, is was an old man's issue.

He said nowadays, he's seeing it increasingly more common amongst younger men and women!

There's no known answer as to why this is happening. He says he believes it was stress induced in my end... And the week before I came down with it, I was in DC for a Walk away event called "the Unsilent March".

I was sucker punched by a ghetto Lib for Trump gear.

I wasn't hurt. Weak as punch, and he ran!

Get this... This is where it gets good!

As he ran, he hopped onto his skateboard to get away, and Gavin Mccines tripped him off!! Then cops tackled him Hahaha.

There's a video out there somewhere Gavin got of me and my pops chasing the attacker down, seeing my dad swing his cane and almost nailing his bitch ass!

Then an interview later around Washington Monument where I talk with Gavin

They arrested him, I pressed charges... Obviously, the DA didn't let it stick, I bet mainly because I had zero damage. Get that. Sucker punched right in the mouth, and ZERO damage haha.

No pain after a few minutes either. The park police were very kind, and the lady officer hanging with me to talk during everything was super kind and enjoyable to chat with.

I told them I was completely fine, and was only pressing charges so he would at least have to be put into the system, get finger prints, and fuck his own day up.

Gavin is a boss! I got to do an interview with him.

I didn't feel stressed, but immune system wise and such, I'd bet the situation physically stressed my body a bit.

But yeah, they say it's becoming increasingly common in younger Americans.
