Was thinking this morning.....If there is secession and all of the pedes move to areas like Texas, etc. My question would be--Do we continue with the constitution as it is, meaning we will allow the freedom for libs to come in and vote their shitty policies in again or do we limit freedom to make sure this doesn't happen. Seems like liberals will congregate and will destroy part of any new state, country, or what have you.

Our constitution is the best document there is, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. The constitution needs to be more specific with gun rights. it also needs to have mechanisms to address those who wish to use the constitution itself to undermine the country such as communists. Communists are the biggest threat to mankind

Once the dam cracks, secession will take off all over the world (especially Russia, China, etc). We need a new, immutable Constitution - explicitly forbidding socialism, explicitly capping taxation, explicitly allowing unlimited free speech, explicitly allowing for armed self-defense against government tyranny, explicitly forbidding a higher-level government from doing anything that can be done at a more local level, requiring a super-majority to pass new laws and making all laws expire if not renewed, no "general welfare" loopholes, etc, etc, etc.
Everyone must pledge to follow the Constitution to become citizen. Anyone advocating for socialism will be "physically removed".

IMO secession is not the answer. I’m of the kind that secession means that we are willing to give [them] a major win by successfully taking a part(however big or small) of our great nation, we have ceded our nation to an enemy. I think of it the same way as if a foreign entity has invaded us and we just willingly giving it to them instead of keeping what is ours. Secondly, that leaves our seceded “nation” vulnerable to our enemies to finally realize their dream of dividing and conquering our nation, whether by invading it bc now it has been weakened by division, which is true. I do not like what is going on in our country at the moment but I’m also the type to not give away what is rightfully ours, especially to a bunch of idiots throwing tantrums like children. This time, the baby crying the loudest should not get the milk. If it really comes to secession, we need to fight to keep our nation intact, not separate it. Castle doctrine on a national level is where we need to go.

You make it sound like we’re already defeated so what’s the point? I don’t share that sentiment. I understand what you’re saying but I respectfully disagree. I don’t want war or anything like that as much as anyone else but when your back is against the wall you either fight back or you give up. Speaking for myself, I’m not giving up; even if there’s a noise around my neck, in my heart I won bc I never gave up.

I like your perspective. I do consider them enemies and a threat to American freedom. Ceding parts of our great nation to the enemy would be a travesty.
