When did we the people give congress the authority to impose an income tax? We didn't. When did we the people give congress the authority to create the Social Security system? We didn't. Or the Federal Reserve Act? Nope. (and a million others)
None of those things were central aspects of anybody's campaign. They only were shoved through after tyrants were elected, and then we the people failed by not demanding that they repeal them. Which is why we need to start actively tearing this shit down instead of just trying to prevent more of it.
Yes, but we all know that many illegal immigrants voted so they are elected by illegal immigrants too. We also know that China, Russia, and Iran rigged the election so in essence those countries elected them as well. So, obviously, they represent those countries. They didn't get elected by domestic terrorists because that would be illegal so they can't, in good conscience, represent those bigots.
You see how this works? Why would they represent people that don't even like them? In case it's not clear I'm being facetious. I doubt congress actually better represents foreigners more than their own lawful constituents. That would be a disaster otherwise.
