There are some arguments in favor of government, I don't deny that. Though I wouldn't say this quote necessarily argues in favor of government on its own.

As interesting as that is, the differences in the way the towns were laid out is likely more due to the time when they were laid out. Another thing you may find interesting is that people have actually been discovering that some (a lot) of the medieval cities and towns/cities were not actually built at random and were actually also planned, only with organic planning in mind rather than in the grid format or even something more ambitious like in DC.

Yeah, I have for a long time been keeping an eye on Arizona ever since the whole Maricopa Obama birth certificate issue (which we still do not have an answer for why the Obama provided birth certificate was certifiably fraudulent), and I have always had the general sense that things are way off in AZ without having a clear sense of the point of origin, possibly because there was no single point of origin as is often the case in these matters. For whatever reason, be it just an Obama obsession due to Arpaio threatening to expose something, whatever it is (I am not willing to conclude anything), there has been something going on in AZ for years now that makes no apparent or overt sense without including an assumption that covert things are included and having a significant impact on actions and outcomes that are otherwise unexplainable.
It's a similar thing to the whole election results analysis, in some states the math all checks our and everything both adds up but even reverse engineering things clearly indicates that there are no faults, and in other states that is not at all the case and things simply don't add up no matter how you combine, slice, or dice things because there are clearly other inputs. It's like having a function of 1+2+x=5 … where no only do you not know what x is, but all you are shown and can see is 1+2=5. So you reverse engineer the equation and conclude that there must be a missing x and that it has to be either 2 or another function that resolves to 2, but you are oddly immediately screamed at that you are a racist antisemite for looking.

As interesting as that is, the differences in the way the towns were laid out is likely more due to the time when they were laid out. Another thing you may find interesting is that people have actually been discovering that some (a lot) of the medieval cities and towns/cities were not actually built at random and were actually also planned, only with organic planning in mind rather than in the grid format or even something more ambitious like in DC.
The first time I came across the organic city planning concept of the German medieval ages concept was in an article where they seemingly made the first discovery of that very concept. It was about a German city/town where I think a civil engineer started realizing there were certain patterns based on ratios he was seeing in the city plans and he started investigating from there. Yeah, I have for a long time been keeping an eye on Arizona ever since the whole Maricopa Obama birth certificate issue (which we still do not have an answer for why the Obama provided birth certificate was certifiably fraudulent), and I have always had the general sense that things are way off in AZ without having a clear sense of the point of origin, possibly because there was no single point of origin as is often the case in these matters. For whatever reason, be it just an Obama obsession due to Arpaio threatening to expose something, whatever it is (I am not willing to conclude anything), there has been something going on in AZ for years now that makes no apparent or overt sense without including an assumption that covert things are included and having a significant impact on actions and outcomes that are otherwise unexplainable.
It's a similar thing to the whole election results analysis, in some states the math all checks our and everything both adds up but even reverse engineering things clearly indicates that there are no faults, and in other states that is not at all the case and things simply don't add up no matter how you combine, slice, or dice things because there are clearly other inputs. It's like having a function of 1+2+x=5 … where no only do you not know what x is, but all you are shown and can see is 1+2=5. So you reverse engineer the equation and conclude that there must be a missing x and that it has to be either 2 or another function that resolves to 2, but you are oddly immediately screamed at that you are a racist antisemite for looking.
