I would love to see the $15 thing. Super hyper inflation would be a godsend right now. Wreck the economy, no jobs, high dollar goods, rent but the pipe dream is over. It was a campaign bullet to win. Nothing more like the $2K checks. The best part is though they can never blame it on conservatives. They have all the power and did not deliver to their voters. Going to burn them mid terms.
Raising the minimum wage is a perfect storm for them because the last time it was done was 13 years ago. But the domino effects of a sudden jump from 7.25-15.00 will be brutal.
The last time it was raised I had been making $7.00/hr cleaning toilets and pulling trash in a factory 70 hours a week. Right around the time it went into effect I received a real raise too to $8/hr ... Uncle Sam raised it 25 cents and my employer 75 cents.
