To back you up and be fair, saying that hating a religion is racists. It's still not the religion itself but the people who go nuts following certain ones (and most religions have had their moments) so I'll disagree on that point.
Because if someone thinks hating a religion is racist that implies that they beleive only certain races belong and/or practice certain religions.
This happens mostly with white woke people and the Islam situation, if you say you don't like "Muslims" which means believers in Islam, they will call you racist.
