In my experiences female teachers don't know how and can't deal with boys and nor do they have any capacity for self evaluation that allows them to see their own inability to be instructors of males. Ironically male teachers don't have this same problem. This is one of the reasons why I think grade school should be segregated by gender.

Any parent should be able to figure this out for themselves. My wife has trouble even with our three year old, because she doesn't know how to even think like a boy. Not to say I don't have my own troubles with him, but most days I can get his attitude to change with the right level of forcefulness and the "dad voice" that his mom can't manage.

If I thought "school" was the right way to do it, I'd be 100% for gender segregation of the classes. There's a reason all the Elite schools are exactly that.

The majority of teachers aren't parents, they're usually younger women fresh out of college.
