Even the illegals coming from socialist countries are now more right-wing than the Democrats who've gone full commie. They also are heavily Catholic and I doubt will care much for trannie sports or third term abortions. Also it'll probably shock the hell out of them when they have to start paying taxes and can't work under the table anymore. They'll still vote mostly democrat but it won't be as big of a gain for the democrats as they think, or as big of a loss as conservatives fear. I think that's why they're backing down from this
