If a Senator was in the kitchen in the morning, he'd do a 20 min speech about how someone should put bread in the toaster, then draft a strongly worded letter to the kitchen asking why breakfast isn't being made.
And then propose an investigation to determine the definition of ‘bread’ before conducting a review of whether to table a declaration that white bread is a racist menu item, and then voluntarily suspend his participation in the breakfast planning subcommittee for an ethics panel review of his comments about sporks — all while chowing down bacon delivered directly into his mouth by a genetically modified soy-wheat substitute conglomerate lobbyist advisor.
The GOP likes to just sit there and point at the fire consuming the building instead of trying to stop it. They do it time and again "hehe the dems are hypocrites. Calling them hypocrites will surely stop them." The left don't care about being caught red handed being hypocrites, they're getting their agenda through while the GOP clowns are just pointing at the thieves while they walk away with the contents of the safe.
I see it similar, but a little different. It's that they don't bother to put fire alarms in the building, a fire hydrant within a mile, or cleanup the dry brush and grass nearby that spread the fire in the first place.
Instead they blame the lightning knowing all too well they can't change what lightning will do and at best, after years of fires move the hydrant half a mile closer only to have the lightning later strike it and destroy it.
I'd be all for ditching police if gun owners didnt face such frivolous liability for defensive gun uses. The reality is, an armed society is a polite society, but we are a litigious society and half of the country is hell bent on jailing anyone who ever defends themself with a gun. As a pretty strong libertarian and someone whose never been overly fond of police, I'd rather they do the shooting than I take the liability. They shoot someone in a good shoot instance and they get placed on paid admin leave and the case goes away after some mild legal harassment (in most instances). I shoot someone in a good shoot self defense instance, I lose my job and become Kyle Rittenhouse and pray to God there's someone on the jury who understands clear self defense.
Fuck Tom Cotton, none of this would be an issue if any of these fucking Senators did their job and stopped the fucking steal. Also, why no mention of Ashley Babit? Fuck this homo.
Ditto. Supremely disgusted. If I were older (and I wasn’t completely disillusioned with politics/voting), I’d run for an office myself. Don’t think AR would be ready for this level of redpill, though.
Of course, I don’t want to get Arkancided either, soooo
The police is to keep us civilized, but that was weaponized to keep us complacent. They do nothing to the third worlders who attack us, and we can't even defend ourselves or they will drag US away.
Police states are meant to modify our behavior. Surveilance modifies our behavior. Us being "civilized" and cautious is killing us.
except we don't need a nanny state to keep us "civilized" to begin with
mass government has been the greatest uncivil force in history, not people in their own neighborhoods
the reason we don't have terror attacks, mass crime, etc isn't because the police stop any of it. They're a cleanup crew 90% of the time. The reason is no one is interested in doing those awful things. Shit, every terrorist and mass shooter was known to the police in the first place.
Yep, this cuck lost a ton of “political capital” by making his decision. Unfortunately, I know a lot of conservatives who’ll just vote him in again because “we’ll take it back in ‘22!”
The police union folks freaked out about what the Biden admin is going to do to them should have thought that one through before they cucked out to him. They facilitated the DC capitol shit on Jan 6 and happily let Antifa walk while cracking down on Trump supporters holding peaceful events, shutting down small business owners and red flagging innocent gun owners. They burned their allies and now they're crying for help.
They can all get fucked. I only remember one cop, out of the entire country, that was outspoken about all that shit. He was in Seattle and the shit canned him for it. As far as I'm concerned, cops are like FBI agents, there is no such thing as a good one.
Considering the police seem to only protect corrupt politicians, I might be fine with this. We arent even supposed to have police. We have citizen arrest and sheriffs to deal with crime.
I may be the odd man out here, but I agree with one position of hers, that all drugs should be legal.
It’s not like the fucking cartels and Chinese aren’t getting it in the country, and it’s not like people aren’t already doing it.
Legalizing will seriously hurt the cartels. They need drugs to be illegal to continue business as usual.
Furthermore if people are going to do it, just let them.
Now I do think a stigma should be attached to drug use, I don’t believe in promoting drug use, nor should the government make it easier for addicts to shoot up and shit all over the sidewalks (and not in that order necessarily), by giving them paraphernalia etc.
Nurses and Doctors are more than happy to give you fentanyl. They're 99% of the addiction problem. Perfectly healthy and competent people get hooked on narcotics because of routine procedures/injuries and proceed to ruin their lives...
there are no problems/services to ensure doctors and nurses aren't the plague they are when it comes to mental health and substance abuse.
I went to the doctor because my ankle was messed up. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong. So the doc offered me a script of oxy. Probably figured I was just trying to get free drugs with a fake injury.
I told him “I don’t want the drugs, I want my ankle fixed.”
He looked at me like I was a fucking ghost. He couldn’t believe what he heard.
I had to have a double, permanent matrixectomy last week...
2 weeks ago I went to my doctor (personal family doctor) and asked if I could get one or two Ativan (Lorazepam) for the surgery.. you know, to not be anxious..
she VERY HAPPILY wrote me a prescription for them.
I know it's not a super crazy good example, but she prescribed me 4 pills when I'd asked for two. I only used 1 of the 4.
The thing is Ativan is HIGHLY addictive and I'm the type of personal who only reluctantly takes Advil or Tylenol.. I prefer to let my body heal itself and I prefer to suffer through slight discomforts rather than taking the easy way out (obviously I took the easier route when it came to this surgery)..
People are laxidaisical about prescription meds tho, both my wife and mom asked if they could take the extra 3 Ativan off of me to give to my grandma with alzheimers who gets uppity quite often. I said No, but it's still sad how they're treated like candy by doctors and normies alike.
I hear you. I had 3 surgeries, legit invasive surgeries. All 3 times I had a full bottle of hydrocodone (sp). it’s basically oxy. It was painful as hell but I didn’t take it unless it was absolutely needed. Over 3 surgeries I took only 3 of those pills.
I wouldn't say I don't trust doctors, but they seem way more concerned with maintenance than fixing anything.
They're afraid to even call someone fat. Just uhh... here's you're diabetes medicine, and... 3 other prescriptions for blood pressure and cholesterol and
I have a doctor friend of the family. He says most doctors are shit. This dude went to USC and residence at Cedars-Sinai. He’s good. But yeah he said like 90% of them are shit.
We get his second opinion on things and he constantly says how shitty the doc is or how in skilled, etc and has put us in touch with with docs he recommends and every time they have been better than the previous doc.
My back was messed up for a few years and I was surprised how easily they prescribed muscle relaxers.
If I took the recommended dose I'd easily be dead. They were recommending 3-4 pills... everyday, and taking 1 every other day was enough to make it difficult to work.
It cost him nothing to say this. Have not seen Cotton stand up against election fraud or anything else where it could potentially cost him. He has the talent to be a future President, but lost me with his recent inaction. This is a cheap/free statement, he should be fighting like DeSantis is by setting up rules to fine Big Tech for censorship etc.
The time to stop this shit was when you were lying about Trump inciting an insurrection and certifying a fraudulent election.
Cotton WANTED Bide and these kind of policies so he can PRETEND to oppose him/them. If he stops one or two appointments they will just be replaced by someone who holds the exact same views, just smart enough to have not stated them publicly.
It's all political theater to fool voters. When the time comes to stand up for us, Cotton already proved he will not.
Those are the consequences of the electoral fraud, this idiot did nothing to stop it then, the best thing he can do is leave politics to people who act.
Then stop her.
If a Senator was in the kitchen in the morning, he'd do a 20 min speech about how someone should put bread in the toaster, then draft a strongly worded letter to the kitchen asking why breakfast isn't being made.
Don't forget go on Hannity and angrily declare he plans to stuff the toaster with bread as soon as possible.
While the emaciated kids still sit at the kitchen table waiting for breakfast after 3 years.
I'd say I agree with your point, but I'd have to draft a letter and then say things and do nothing in the end
Only politicians do this shit. You don't see plumbers coming to your house then screwing about how if someone doesn't fix your pipes they'll overflow.
Fucking useless cunts. .
You forgot to add “please send money” after hurr durr.
Best summary of politics ever

Great way of looking at it

But that would be like work and stuff the only thing the GoP likes to do is make speeches.
The game in Washington is to pretend your corruption is incompetence.
And vice versa. They are both corrupt and incompetent.
it's called the ga runoffs.
if mitch still had the senate 90% of these nominees wouldn't even make it to the floor
I think Mitch is a good reason why we are in this situation.
Good thing he gave it to the Democrats!
Tom Cotton sat on his ass in challenging electoral votes because WalMart told him to. I don't really care what he has to say.
Yep. If he gave a shit about Democrat nominations he could've at least tried to stop them when it counted.
Athlete who refused to complain about steroid abuse warns opposing team may be stronger.
Abolish the people who arrest you for not wearing a mask or for opening your small business...
Honestly I like the Wild West ideal: county sheriff & limites police presence, encourage constitutional carry
canuck here, our cops have been enforcing lockdowns, giving out tickets for not wearing a mask, arresting church leaders and denying them bail.
at this point im with you, fuck the police and bring on the wild west.
They support those who pay them, not what is right.
I'd be all for ditching police if gun owners didnt face such frivolous liability for defensive gun uses. Getting rid of lawsuits for self-defense & gun usage would be key
Unfortunately that's not the direction I think we're heading.
gun law trends disagree, we've never had more pro-defense and anti-licensure laws
We've also never had so much litigation against simple self defense.
^This
My question is, did Tom Cotton vote to certify the fraudulent election? Because if so he doesn't get a goddamn opinion about anything anymore.
Yup. And that's the right question.
Yes and Fuck his "military service" I bet he did his tour on his knees.
Hey look! Its resistance theatre!
Fuck Tom Cotton, none of this would be an issue if any of these fucking Senators did their job and stopped the fucking steal. Also, why no mention of Ashley Babit? Fuck this homo.
Ooooweee they tryin’ to wins us back!
Mr Meeseeks, destroy those lame ass GOPe cucks!
Lol you get it
I mean, to be fair, you have to have a really high IQ....
This Arkansan doesn't pick Cotton.
Ditto. Supremely disgusted. If I were older (and I wasn’t completely disillusioned with politics/voting), I’d run for an office myself. Don’t think AR would be ready for this level of redpill, though.
Of course, I don’t want to get Arkancided either, soooo
8 months ago I would have been like this is madness
Now I'm all for defunding the police. All over the western world they enforce the tyranny of governments and arrest people trying to make a living
You have me thinking With the second amendment, dashcams and private surveillance... What do we need police for?
The police is to keep us civilized, but that was weaponized to keep us complacent. They do nothing to the third worlders who attack us, and we can't even defend ourselves or they will drag US away.
Police states are meant to modify our behavior. Surveilance modifies our behavior. Us being "civilized" and cautious is killing us.

Well maybe if you would have fought for us on the 6th this wouldnt have been a problem Mr. Cotton.
Yep, this cuck lost a ton of “political capital” by making his decision. Unfortunately, I know a lot of conservatives who’ll just vote him in again because “we’ll take it back in ‘22!”
no worries its great for fundraising, and hand wringing, and "resistance".
He's still a cuck bitch though
I'm so tired of shit like this.. "X warns against.." it means literally nothing.
It’s as effective as a strongly worded letter or a “nuked from orbit” tweet.
Literally useless.
The police union folks freaked out about what the Biden admin is going to do to them should have thought that one through before they cucked out to him. i'd care but the cops dont seem to be on our side anymore, so fuck em
Ngl, the current state of the government has sold me on the whole defund the police idea.
Considering the police seem to only protect corrupt politicians, I might be fine with this. We arent even supposed to have police. We have citizen arrest and sheriffs to deal with crime.
I only care about how he voted on Jan 6.
If only there were some way our stalwart conservative representatives could have stopped this administration...oh well
Annnnnd typical of leftwing radical women, she's physically repulsive.
Cotton is So Weak....Lord!

Laughable. Fuck Tom and all gop.
Daily reminder that Tom Cotton is a hand picked, deep state shill.

Fuck Tom "where is the evidence?" Cotton.
Unpopular Opinion: i support the fall
An angry letter will be written.
FBI, DOJ and ATF first. I'd be totally on board.
I say do it then call to defund the ATF 👍
Americans tried stopping this. Should have sided with them instead of the Communists.
Vanita Gupta is the Nimrata Randhawa of DOJ nominees
The time to stop this shit was when you were lying about Trump inciting an insurrection and certifying a fraudulent election.

I dont care where i live the Sharif or deputy might drive by once a month. Cities are shit holes anyways with or without cops.
cops don't disappear they just lose their badge and uniform.
It still results in the same thing, good guys intervening and without a functional justice system we just bury them and go about our day.
Some things might actually not be so bad.
Let's fast track the Honk and support the defunding /s not /s
After nothing happened and the election was stolen, I believe I’ve become an accelerationist.
If clown world has no peak, let’s get the world burning so we can get strong men back instead of a bunch of faggots.
scaukie biccccth
Had you stopped the stolen election you wouldn’t ha love to worry about it
But Minneapolis worked out so well!
"Vanita Gupta"
Ah now that sounds like a traditional American name who will uphold our Constitutional rights.
If you had CONTESTED THE ELECTION then this wouldn't have been a problem.
Those are the consequences of the electoral fraud, this idiot did nothing to stop it then, the best thing he can do is leave politics to people who act.
don't threaten me with a good time
some waterhead was shooting off a gun in the street in front of my house and the cops didn't even check to see if I was alive
useless
You're worried about crime Senator? Didn't you vote to certify the potato on January 6th, and with that vote, also sanctioned unlimited voter fraud?
Blah, blah, blah. They didn't stop the steal, there would have been no such nominations if they had any balls.
This the woman who believes/believed in magic melanin theory?
Government cannot be both "Diverse" and "Representative" ...we can do without all these affirmative action appointments.
Curious that Dems are all for defunding the police, except for the Capitol Police, their funding is going up for some strange reason.
Yeah you could have stopped this...IF YOU FUCKING STOOD BY TRUMP IN FIGHTING AGAINST THE STEAL.
Tom who?
