Al Gore's film redpilled me on global warming. The claim was that an increase in atmospheric carbon causes an increase in temperature. Then he showed the historical ice core data graphs, and nowhere did an increase in carbon cause an increase in temperature. It was the opposite. An increase in temperature preceded an increase in carbon.

Verified again by the articles noting that lockouts reduced emissions, which in turn caused a minor temperature increase.
