How come Trump isnt speaking up for these people?

He should be. I don’t doubt that some people did wrong things that should be punished, but so far it seems like the law isn’t being applied equally or fairly.

It does make me doubt him, seems silent on his supporters being persecuted. Even before he was elected.

I see a few options. 1) it's all fake, he's in on it and there really are no outsiders 2) He honestly probably believes that the people who caused violence were in the wrong 3) he knows some people are being treated unfairly, but is too chickenshit to do anything because of optics. However, Trump Jr. has made comments that people are being treated unfairly compated to BLM/Antifa riots.

Anyone who seriously believes that Trump is part of the uniparty is a moron.

If anything, Trump speaking out on behalf of specific defendants would make the persecutors try even harder to nail those people.

Trump knows antifa was there. He knew they would be there before it happened.

He has never once explicitly condemned his supporters. He only indirectly condemns the violence, and those who were violent, and says those who were violent aren't true supporters of his.

It's like we're meant to read between the lines that he knows it wasn't us.
