Agree his vote to certify was hard to take.

In particular because I still consider him to be a genuine, well intentioned man.

I'm certain he had considerations I'm not aware of, and he's been better than almost every other senator...

Still, I'd like to hear him explain it.

The libertarian principals his father espoused was that individual rights trump states rights, and he was making it all a states rights vs. federal government rights thing. Individual rights trump all of them, and every disenfranchanchised voter had their rights totally trampled on without a second look. Totally just dismissed the rights of the individuals during the debating on the issue. WTH?

He basically said that voting to "overturn" state certified results would harm states rights, blah blah. It sounds great if the election was legit. But since it wasn't Rand can fuck right off.
