I imagine Jesus is embarassed to be associated with a group of people who were too selfish and lazy to fight the evil that has taken over our country.

I stopped going to church when my pastor said God would handle it when men were being allowed into little girls restrooms.

Yes it is shameful and any pastor who says it is ok to support the sodomites is a disgrace to our faith. Luckily real Christians reject utterly the Joel Osteen's of this world. LGBTQ yada yada is demonic and has no place in our faith. Ditto women pastors (totally preposterous idea)

This is not about theology. This is about pastors teaching Gods people that they dont have to fight evil.

Whether its Joel Osteen, a southern baptist preacher, or a catholic priest, doesn't matter. They are ALL guilty of leading their people off the cliff with their "me" centric teaching. One tells everyone to believe in themselves, the other tells everyone to hate themselves. Its all the same, it about me not God.

They all teach that we should stay out of the political realm. In doing so we allow evil to flourish. Evil doesnt stay confined to politics and to ignore it just because its rooted in the political system is just plain ignorance.

Find a new church. I mean, God will handle all of it in the end because the real problem is sin and God promised us that it will be taken care of when he get's back, but until then our job is to stand up and spread the gospel and plant the seeds of faith all over the world that God can grow. Your pastor wasn't wrong, but he was cowardly. It is our duty as followers of Christ to speak the truth even if it gets us canceled. If Paul could get stoned multiple times and get up after and keep telling people the truth of Jesus, we can risk a bunch of soy boys in skinny jeans calling us mean names on the internet and getting us banned from everything. We don't have to deal with any level of persecution that Christians in other parts of the world have to deal with yet and when they get around to us here it isn't like the faithful body of Christ is going to shut up anyway. Be bold in your speech and make it like thunder that melts the snowflakes.

Show me church that has stood up and fought and I will attend.

I have worked my rear off sending emails writing letters to churches and speaking to pastors and all I get in return is replies like yours but no action.

The truth is that pastors are so afraid they will lose a paying member that they will not stand up and fight.

Christians are the originators of "trust the plan" but use the term "God is in control" rather than Patriots are in control.

Yes God is ultimately in control but when the people refused to act and God had to step in, there was a flood and fire and brimstone. And dont forget that God allowed his people to stay in captivity for hundreds of years.

Do we really want God to have to step in?

So many people claim to be Christians, and yet they don't understand and follow the core teachings of Jesus. Granted following the actual core teachings of Jesus is really hard, after all it gets you crucified.

But a pastor, should know better, he should at the very least preach to fight for what's right.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Ask your pastor what he is willing to do to fight the evil that has taken over. I would bet he would just say pray.

Out of hundreds that Ive contacted, not one would offer anything but prayer. Not one was willing to step up and speak out. Not one was willing to lead a protest of allowing men in girls bathrooms. Not one was willing to discuss these issues in a church service...NOT ONE.

Don't stop going to church, just find a different church.

Show me a church that has stood up and fought and I will attend it.

I havent seen one yet.

People criticize the Q people for saying trust the plan but in reality Christians are the originator of "trust the plan". They speak the same message.

Christians -God is in control

Q people - Patriots are in control

Christians- God will handle it and we dont need to do anything.

Q people-- Relax and trust the plan

Theres no difference in the message, its just worded a little differently.
