Good question. We need to be like France, one day of voting with ID in person with paper ballots. If someone cannot vote they have to get a proxy with a signed affidavit to vote in their place.
I sent one to my piece of shit congressman this is what I got:
Representation begins with listening, and I appreciate hearing your concerns about the 2020 election.
Voting is the most vital form of political speech. I believe we should do everything possible to ensure our elections are safe, secure, accessible, and fair. Greater participation by eligible citizens yields better representation in our government.
As your Congressman I have the utmost respect for my constituents, regardless of perspective or partisan affiliation. To paraphrase Republican Senator Mitt Romney, however, respecting my constituents requires that I be forthright with the facts.
On November 3rd, 2020 our nation held a Presidential election. Given the high number of early votes and mail in ballots due to the coronavirus pandemic, coupled with some state legislatures allowing legally-cast ballots postmarked by Election Day to be counted and others preventing early ballots from being counted until after polls closed, the vote-counting process took much longer than normal. This resulted in key states not being called on election night, which has been the case in several recent elections, including in 2016. On November 7th, Joe Biden was officially projected to be the winner.
Our system of checks and balances allows for concerns and disagreements on the application of rules to be addressed through the courts. The President and his allies brought scores of legal challenges to the election processes in multiple states, and no court –including those with judges appointed by President Trump – found his campaign’s claims credible. The Trump campaign and its allies filed and lost over 50 lawsuits in Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada, nearly all due to lack of evidence. Only one case brought by the President was ruled in his favor, but it affected very few votes was ultimately overturned on appeal.
Each of the 50 states audited and certified their own results, and no nonpartisan elections official, federal appointee, or court found any evidence of voter fraud that could have impacted the outcome of the election. On December 8thevery state except Wisconsin met the deadline to resolve disputes and verify their results, and the Electoral College certified those results on December 14th.
According to Trump Administration officials themselves, the 2020 election was “the most secure in American history,” and “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” In addition, international election observers – invited by the U.S. State Department under President Trump – determined that allegations of wrongdoing were unfounded.
In a Presidential election, the role of Congress is to count the electoral votes as submitted by the states. With no state offering an alternative slate of electors, we convened to affirm the Electoral College results. On January 6th, I upheld my oath to the Constitution and the will of American voters by affirming the Electoral College results of the 2020 presidential election. This action was not about a preserving a president, but rather preserving the presidency and the very system of government that has made the United States of America the oldest continuous democracy in the world.
Inspiring collaboration in Congress and restoring Americans’ faith in our government requires thoughtful compromise, but when it comes to protecting the foundations of American democracy there is no middle ground. Our democratic republic depends on those who speak the truth and demonstrate political courage when we need it most. I am inspired by those who have done so, and I hope more will join them in the weeks and months ahead.
Thanks again for contacting me. Please continue sharing your perspectives and ideas. I’m listening – and reading.
Blah, blah, blah .... Ask a question, get submerged in politispeak.

They should grasp what everyone else does now, bunch of pathetic midwits.
"First Trump,then you."~Richard Barris
Should have asked why he thought Biden won fair and square.
I included that in the email of course :)
I got similar uniparty shill BS from Cruz. They are probably dying to vote for Nancy’s election rape plan.
Every federally elected conservative knows they are absolutely fucked if this bill passes. Cue McConnell retirement.
