They have us right where they want us. Masked, home, cannot afford to go anywhere, and afraid to go anywhere.
I was originally going to argue....but yeah you are correct. I am layed off because this scary nothing of a disease. I refuse to wear a mask...what a rebel I am in the scheme of things.
I refuse to be cowed. Texas' governor has lifted the mask order starting Wednesday. And we shall see how many of the mask preachers will be around. All the big cities are screaming fault and it's fun to watch.
My wife owns her business and as soon as th mask mandate is gone on Wednesday, she will no longer be requiring her workers to wear a mask and will gladly remove the "You must wear a mask" sign from her door.
She is worried people will not want to come in and I straight up told her that no one is stopping them from wearing a mask, and if they insist our workers wear one against their will, then they can take their business elsewhere.
We are so fucking done with this COVID bullshit and want to go back to normal as soon as possible.
She never had to put the sign up in the first place. You people just don’t get it.
Y’all from Texas? If so, good for y’all! We need business owners to stand up and say enough of this crap. Like you said, no one is stopping anyone from continuing to wear a mask if they so choose. I’m willing to bet your wife will start getting a lot more business and if I were you I’d start advertising and promoting as such. Let your locals know they’re free to come without a mask now. I went to my local grocery store yesterday (Thursday) and lo and behold, at least half the people there were not wearing masks. It was quite an epiphany....
Same at Quiktrip. Mostly white males!
It's wonderful in TX starting Wednesday (actually starting sooner but let them have their stupid illusions).
But but but... they can go to insert tropical island here and feel good they defeated environmental concerns those driving, breathing plebs create!
