If he had just sat in the car like the officers were trying to make him do, he might still be alive. He was uncooperative and beligerient, and was saying he couldn't breathe before the even got him to the car. He was going into cardiac arrest when they tried to get him into the air conditioning in the car, but he refused and kicked his way out, and after kicking his way out asked to be held on the ground instead of in the car.
He was dead the second he ate his drugs. If he had just taken the drug change he'd be alive. There is the obvious don't be a career criminal scumbag answer too but God forbid anyone mention either of those possiblities.
Probably. Only thing that maybe could've saved him would be if he was in the cruiser instead of on the ground. Then when he became unresponsive they could've driven him to the hospital instead of waiting for a unit with a gurney to transport him.
They didn’t let him out, he kicked and squirmed his way out.
This.
