And those are the ignoramuses. Most Hispanics know that "Latinx" is a variation of "Latino," and it applies to people descended from countries in LATIN AMERICA (South America and Central America), and not MEXICO. Truthfully, "Hispanic" is the most accurate term to indicate people descended from ancestors from Spain (Hispania)...which would include South Americans, Central Americans, and Mexicans.

True, I hang out with a lot of Latino people from Chili, Colombia, Peru,.. dancing Salsa and Bachata with them. None of them are from Mexico, and Mexico is North America for them, for away and different. A lot of people in general are very ignorant about Latin America.
