With a President weak on China and the Chinese military age male demographic shrinking rapidly it's now or never for Chinese reunification. Hong Kong was a trail balloon and Covid was a distraction and warning shoot to forgein powers who might interfer. I just feel bad for service members. Hawks are gonna push for WW III.

No WW III. Asia war maybe. China against Taiwan, India, Japan, Australia and those southeast asian countries (Obama betrayed them so they are super tight with China now). US is already a Chinese puppet state, 0 chance it will fight against its master. EU is too cucked to meddle in this. UK can't even protect people from HK, let alone with Taiwan.
