I have read where the turtle is trying to craft an exit strategy by trying to line up his successor. People in state of Kentucky should have none of this and should be making comments to their state reps and senators about the subject. The big question is why the turtle is doing this? You have to think he is planning on doing something so sinister to the republican party that he will need to resign. Like allow the end of the fillibuster in the senate?

He might quit out of fear, but not out of anger.

And I don't think he fears us.

I’m not sure what to make of this. The KY legislature (which is 2/3 Repubs) also filed to change the process so that McConnell basically gets to pick his replacement.

Think he’s flying off to China?

That’s why they’re trying to pass a bill in Kentucky to have the new senator be the same party as the old senator, and there’s a Republican supermajority in the legislature enough to override the Dem governor’s veto.
