If it was meant to incite a real riot but failed I can see some sense. I was there. When I saw the lack of security I didn't trust the situation. Everything about DC that day and the night before felt off, unreal. Like being at a film set the day before filming begins is the best I can describe it. I was on here reading fake posts about fake incidents that supposedly were occurring where I was standing the first night. I'll never believe any news from the capital again whatever side it favors.
I have seen the theory that it was to incite a riot. That theory doesn't add up because if they actually wanted to do that, they wouldn't fake a death. They would actually kill someone, and it would have been out where everyone could see it, and it would be someone that wasn't doing anything suspect.
