Pence and Trump are still on good terms which tells me we might be overblowing things. I don't like that he didn't take a stand, but it wouldn't have achieved anything. People act like Pence had the power to determine who would become the next president. That is laughable. If that was the case then Al Gore would be in his 6th term as president right now.
The one good thing from all of this is that Pence is now out of the 2024 discussion. He was alright as a VP, but I never thought he had what it would take to be president and I didn't like that people were just assuming he would become president one day.
What he did was cowardly. Doesn’t mean he is unforgivable after the fact. I’m not a big Pence fan. I never have been too impressed by him. I just don’t think he is a Judas like figure like some people make him out to be. He didn’t do anything to change the date of what would happen.
