A bonus from a supposed death was that a call could be made immediately to impeach Trump for his speech that resulted in a "death".
If shots were all it took and they didn’t want to kill anyone, they could have just fired them at the wall or reported that shots were fired.
And if they wanted cause to impeach Trump for a death, they wouldn’t have fake killed one of his unarmed supporters. They would have fake killed a police officer, which they sort of did with the fake reporting that Sicknick died from a fire extinguisher to the head.
If you look at the video he did fire (probably at a wall) straight down the hallway. But shots themselves would not necessarily do the job (people might think they are accidental) But reporting a person killed and parading a body past everybody really helps to raise the panic level.
If they fake killed a police officer on video it would be very hard to explain why they are not prosecuting the Trump Supporter that did it. Plus they probably hoped that the outrage at a 16 year old Trump Supporter being killed would would cause a lot of violent reactions but that did not happen.

You mentioned that it would be hard to justify why they are not prosecuting if they fake killed a cop. Well guess what, THEY ARE PROSECUTING. She has a legal team that is prosecuting it as an unwarranted police shooting.
There are also a million other questions that come up, like: She’s a household name now with pictures all over the internet, how the hell would they hide her after this?
Or maybe, just maybe, it was all real, and the one stupid video that tries to debunk it is made by some no-name jackass with zero reasoning skills.
