Don’t hate on Elon for taking the 09/11 ROPers approach to flying, and space exploration. 😁

SpaceX PR guy: Dude, we should put a Tesla...wait for it...IN SPACE!

NASA: We can help you pay for that. It's great space marketing. Muh science!

Elon: Nah, let's just greenscreen it and keep the cash for our D.U.M.B.

And dig up Stanley Kubrick to direct it!

Surely you realize the magnitude of what he’s trying accomplish right? He’s literally stopping a megaton of mass from a dead drop using directional boosters and landing it safely for occupants. There’s bound to be hiccups when you testdrive it.

There’s tons of videos out there of it exploding. Are you suggesting they’re embarrassed about it and trying to deboonk?

Elon had a press guy take photos of him looking through the wreckage too lol

The video feed from the drone ship is sent via microwave to another ship close by. Depending on the types of transmission and antennas used the vibrations caused by the inbound booster can easily disrupt the signal. If they were really cutting the feed would you be able to watch a montage of their failed attempts on YouTube? Why aren’t the feeds lost on the land based recoveries?

Or maybe they cut the feed to not give their competitors, like Bezos, any ideas. Much easier to just watch SpaceX's attempts than to try it yourself.
