There was a period of time that race relations were improving, and the black community succeeding on all fronts, after the race riots of the 60's and 70's. The 80's and 90's saw a serious uptick across the board for the black community. Granted, Hollywood was patting themselves on the back promoting gang violence with movies like Boyz In Da Hood, but overall, blacks and whites were doing just fine.
Then the liberals decided they wanted to re-live the 60's and invented a new Black Power movement, along with an underground terrorist network like the Black Panthers and the Weather Underground.
Obama set civil rights back several decades, and it's fucking outrageous and sad.
Yep, all Obama did was put it on steroids, but the foundations had been working their way through the culture for decades. I'm 58 and I can say that race relations were much much better in the 70's and 80's than they are now. LBJ had a lot to do with destroying black people and America as a whole.
Agency is one thing but when you setup a large welfare state and then tell the targets that they are deserving victims for decades, you are going to get a large response which is exactly what the statistics bare out. I'm not sure why you would even argue about this when the data is overwhelming.
This. Attack the causes. Destroy the causal nature of the programs that breed the behavior, and allow the sheep to wake up to the wolves that are guiding their demise. This goes for everyone. Division is the easiest way to destroy a unified movement.
