Dude there’s a difference between encouraging healthiness (which should be for both sexes) and insulting melania by calling her a trophy wife, then calling other wives participation trophies

For real though, American obesity rates are ridiculous and its something that needs to be addressed. We have horrible diets and its insane the amount of people I meet who say shit like "I dont drink water bc I dont like the taste" I even supported shit like banning giant sodas because people really just pour sugary corn syrup down their mouths by the gallons each day.
Its pathetic and embarrassing that Americans are all these weak, feeble, fat, lazy constantly sick "where are muh meds!" fatoids.
The pastor himself looks like a fat slob himself so he really has no room to point the finger at anyone else.
I get his point, that a husband wants his wife to look her best for him, but this was clumsy and not particularly biblical. His own opinions disguised as biblical teaching. Sadly, this is the state of modern theology.
