The environment has to be one of the most frustrating topics with the left, or at least best highlight how much the left-right dichotomy boils down to child-adult.

Everyone agrees pollution is bad. Pretty much everyone agrees pollution has an effect on the climate. Grown ups would like to consider how much we affect it, and how we can solve this issue without destroying our economy, while getting other countries on board. The left however, just kicks and screams and pretends everyone else hates mother nature the moment someone disagrees with anything or starts discussion on how to go about solving these issues. If the left sees you not throwing a temper tantrum with them, they think you're one of the bad guys and direct their temper tantrum at you.
