Received this e-mail at work today and wanted to share, here's a TL;DR if its too small to read.

state law strictly prohibits the use of state resources, computers, office space, time, or resources for political purposes.

I acknowledged the horror of watching George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, lose his life. I also noted that everything in our agency is inherently informed and influenced by systematic racism and the legacy of white supremacy.

As such, Black Lives Matter is not prohibited by legislation or administrative policies that discuss political activities because it is a human activity, and not a political activity.

Edit: To avoid being fake news I missed that its Gov. Inslee making up the stupid words and not Secretary Strange. Still BS tho.
