DC should not be a State. In fact, any civilians living within those 100 square miles should be evicted from it. OR we should scatter the DC-based bureaucracies to the 50 States and give DC back to Maryland and Virginia. It wouldn't necessarily eliminate the corruption, but it would distribute the largesse more equitably. It would reverse the situation we have now ehrer 9/10 richest counties are in the DC metroplex.
